Have you considered a career in Real Estate?
The really cool thing about being a Real Estate agent is there is room for people with all kinds of personalities and backgrounds. The most successful Realtors® share a few common traits. They have an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to build their own businesses. They are creative problem solvers and love to help people meet their goals. They are always up for a challenge, follow through on promises, and hold themselves to high ethical standards. Does this sound like you?
Whether you are just starting out, returning to the workforce, or starting your second act, Real Estate might be the right fit for you.
Who is Park Place Homes?
When considering a career in Real Estate it’s vitally important to consider the type of office and environment that you want to work in. Our office environment is a smaller, cohesive group that genuinely enjoys each other and likes coming to the office. It does not feel like work – we have created a business family that always supports each other in their efforts to succeed. We have an office synergy that is unmatched and we are proud of it! The same commitments we give to our clients (strong personal connections, delivering exceptional service and insight) we give to each other in the office.
Our team of full-time agents participates in lead generation brainstorming, call blitz sessions, monthly potluck lunches, friendly competitions, client appreciation events, and plenty of general camaraderies. We believe that work is the most fun when two things are happening: you enjoy the people you work with, and you are making money. We believe the sky is the limit for the right person working in the right environment!
How to get started
The first step to becoming a Realtor is taking a 40-hour pre-licensing class to prepare for the State of Michigan licensing exam. There are many options for Real Estate Schools and class formats. Many people choose to take the class in one week in a classroom. There are also classes on evenings and weekends, and webinar classes to help accommodate a variety of schedules.
It has been our experience that strictly online classes take much longer than anticipated to complete and may not adequately prepare students to pass the state licensing exam.
If you are interested in becoming an agent but have more questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our office. We are happy to answer questions anytime.
